Adverse Drug Effects

We define an adverse drug reaction as “an appreciably harmful or unpleasant reaction, resulting from the use of a medicinal product, which predicts hazard from future administration for the child and warrants prevention or specific treatment, or complete or partial alteration of the dosage regimen, or withdrawal of the product overall.”

It is your right as a parent to be aware of these signs and to take action immediately should you have any suspicion at all that your child my be experiencing an adverse drug effect.
